Dunham Massey Car Park Phase 1 Completed!!

HTLA is pleased to announce that the first phase of work on a new car park at Dunham Massey Hall has been completed.

 

The first phase of the new car park facility has been successfully completed and the final second phase has started. The car park refurbishment is programmed to be completed before the school summer holidays at the end of July 2009. The first Easter weekend has seen the successful parking of over 2,000 visitor cars on site.

Beningbrough Hall Parkland Management Plan Completed!!

HTLA recently completed a Parkland Management Plan for Beningbrough Hall, this was a key document supporting a Higher Level Stewardship agreement for the parkland. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved in the successful completion of this project.

 

 

 

Recent Awards

Awards have recently been received for both Birkenhead Park & Wollaton Park.

 

Birkenhead Park - Highly Commended in the category of Building Conservation at the RICS North West Awards 2009.

 

Wollaton Park - East Midlands RICS Awards 2009 Building Conservation Category.

 

Wollaton Park - East Midlands RICS Awards 2009 Project of the Year 2009.

 

 

 

New Projects

HTLA has recently acquired two new projects, firstly HTLA has been commissioned by the Trustees of Shotover Estate to do a Conservation Management Plan for the house, gardens and parkland.  Secondly HTLA has been appointed by The National Trust to produce a Conservation Management Plan for Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal, this will look at the whole site which includes extensive ruins of a 12th Century Cistercian Abbey, an extremely well preserved and influential Georgian water garden and a medieval deer park.
